Frequently asked questions

The questions retailers ask about the storefront, the channels, orders and the agreement, before a proposal.

The storefront and channels

Does the storefront run on our domain?

Yes. The store runs under the retailer's own domain and brand, with the retailer's certificate. Customers register with the retailer, and their accounts, orders and addresses are the retailer's data.

Which marketplaces and gateways does it connect to?

Listings, prices and stock are pushed to the marketplaces the retailer sells on and orders pulled back into the same fulfilment queue. FPX, cards and e-wallets are taken through the retailer's own gateway. Each connection is set up once for the retailer.

Orders and tax

How does click and collect work?

The customer chooses an outlet at checkout, the order is reserved against that outlet's stock, and the outlet sees it waiting with the promised hour. The customer shows a code at the counter, and the order closes on collection.

Does it handle MyInvois?

Yes. Orders can be issued as validated e-invoices on request, consolidated B2C invoices are submitted on schedule, and rejections are queued for finance with the deadline showing.

Deployment and the agreement

Do we need asasii pos to use it?

No. asasii commerce runs on its own with the storefront, the marketplaces and the warehouse. With asasii pos, the tills join the same catalogue and stock, and click and collect runs through the outlet console.

Where does it run, and can our other systems talk to it?

In the retailer's own cloud account or data centre. idataraya installs it, hardens it and keeps it current, and the retailer's team holds the keys, the backups and the data. A documented API lets the retailer's accounting system, loyalty programme, asasii pos or a third party read products, stock, orders and settlements and post what they need to.

What does the yearly agreement cover?

Software updates, the customisations made for you, monitoring, severity-based response and restoration targets, storefront updates and marketplace connections. Hosting stays with you. It is a fee, not a percentage of sales.
